Course Title: Multi-variable statistics using STATA 12

Course Period: 20 – 31 August 2012 (2 weeks)

Venue: University of Nairobi Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (UNITID) Kenya

Participants Selection Criteria

- PhD registered students who are at an advanced level of their research work, OR

-  MSc. registered students who have finalized data collection and are in the process of data analysis, OR

-  Any other researcher within biological or health sciences with interest in data handling.

Participants are expected to have knowledge of data management and basic statistical analysis. Experience with statistical software, not necessarily Stata, is expected.

Course fees

USD 1,000 to cover partly teaching material, 2 text books, a license to Stata 12, meals and refreshments served during course hours.

Travel and accommodation

Travel and accommodation is not included in the tuition fee and must be arranged separately
